Qlik story to PPT

Hey Community,

I tried the awesome new feature to export my Story to PPT, but now I have a question:

I embedded a full sheet in my presentation to show some things, but when i export it to PPT i only get an empty page where the sheet should be.

Is this intentional or a bug?

Kind regards

Chris

Do you have anything else than filter panes on the sheet? You can't take snapshots of filter panes, and they don't seem to be included when you export sheet to pdf or export story with embedded sheet to ppt.

I don't have anything on the story page beside the full sheet implementation.

Hi Christopg Hebig

I had same issue, fully uinstalling Sense and then reinstalling the new update made the Story exporting to PPL work.

I have the Sense Desktop, whould not suggest this wil work on a server setup.

I meant what objects are on the sheet that you embedded: bar charts, graphs, filter panes(what was listbox in QlikView)?

@Ralf: there were 2 bar charts and 2 line charts (all qlik sense original)

@Teis: i will try this later, thanks so far

I forgot to tell you that I'm using Qlik Sense Desktop.

Hi Christoph,

Exporting to PPT of full sheets in Storytelling is not yet supported in the 2.1 release, this is on the roadmap for coming releases.

Hi Theis Wamsler,

Bas said it isn't possible to export full sheets to ppt until the next release. I wonder how you managed just by reinstalling the App? Are you sure?

By the way here is the video on how to export Qlik Sense sheets to Powerpoint:

Qlik Sense - Export to PowerPoint - YouTube

I still wonder, why it is advertised by Qlik if this function is not working yet?

Kind regards

Joe
