GREAT question! The Qlik Sense Data Architect Exam was developed when Qlik Sense v1.0 was the current release.

I am working on a plan to update the exams for Qlik Sense 2.1 right now, but the exam will not be updated for several months.

Hi Alvaro,

In February 2016, the updated Qlik Sense exams will NOT be ready, so your certifications will be on Qlik Sense 1.0.

The 2.x exams should be done by the end of April 2016.

Do you think Karen the Data Architect certification will differ a lot from 1.0 to 2.1?? Would you recommend me to put off the exam and do it in May for example?

Hi Alvaro,

I've completed an analysis of the new features of Qlik Sense 2.0 and for the Data Architect exam, the exam domain areas will not change much. There will be slight differences in questions relating to ODBC data connections since the new connector pack removes the need to create a User DSN. We will also refresh questions that are not performing well.

In my opinion, I don't see a need to wait until the exam is updated for version 2.0 in May.
