Session lost on accesspoint issue

Hi Forum,

My customer has a server that hosts a big doucment (5gb uncompressed). Now we want to distribute this document via accesspoint to our custom users. When custom user opens the document, it takes 2 minutes loading time and then they get the message 'session lost'.

I suspect that we need to increase some timeout value. But i dont know where this setting is hidden.

Customer uses IIS as webserver. Customer runs on qv server version 11.2 SR12.

Hope someone has some experience with this.

Regards,

Tjeerd

Hi,

Try preloading the document. If you are using publisher you can do it on the Server Tab in the task setup. This would available on the performance tab.

If not you can do it under user documents.

This will allow the document to already be in memory and the users will not have to wait for it to load.

Hi Tjeerd.

How does the server RAM usage look during doc opening?

Does it grow beyond max?
