how to configure printer option for a network printer

I'd like to add a network printer in options but I'm not sure how this is supposed to be defined.

I have the printer's port address and name.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Donald,

Since you say 'options' I assume you are using QlikView NPrinting Designer. You can either add the network printer using Add a printer from Control panel and select it from the drop-down list or enter the printer path and name directly in the NPrinting Task Printer Name field.

Take a look at this article: How to Create Hard Copies of Your Reports – Customer Feedback for Vizubi

If you are using Server make sure the printer is available for the user account used for the NPrinting server service.

when you go to the default printer fild in the file/report settings menu, as long as the machine has access to the printer, that printer will appear in the list of printers

that same printer will also be available on the task window, once you select the 'Print' check box int the 'Printer Configuration for hardcopies' section.  click the down arrow in the printer list
