Distribution service problem

Hi Guys,

We have a big problem with the distribution service.

All tasks disappeared (except supporting tasks) and it says on the server that the QDS service needs a restart all the time.

I have contacted Qlik support but this is quite urgent.

Any chance we could get some help asap?

Thanks all.

The issues has been resolved by my colleague.

Solution: Seems data are corrupted:  C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\ManagementService\QVPR

               We restore the backup data then we could see all our tasks in QMC.

Hmm, there is not a lot of information in your post. This may lead to a lot of guessing, delaying the eventual resolution even more.

Care to post the last distribution log that has something sensible to say about this problem? Distribution logs are called Root_date.txt and can be found in C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionService\1\Log.

Hi,

After a qmc service restart, all tasks are gone and further restart (including windows restart) didn’t solve the problem.
