Gentlemen, I rebooted my server and the QMC and HUB are not opening.
Have you tried restarting the services?
You're trying to open it in the same server or in another computer of the network?
If in server try using localhost or the IP instead of the computer name to discard a name-resolving problem.
If it's a Windows Server 2012 I found an issue with machine.config file, solved following the steps of this link:
but since only one that is running or others give error.
Not the same server, it is windows server 2012 yes.
I did not understand what it says on the link.
There is file in \Windows\Microsoft.net\Framework\vXXXX\Config called machine.config
This file in WS2012 has a section to
<DbProviderFactories>... this section is opened, closed and there is also a line with:
<DbProviderFactories/>
I can't connect to my customer now to tell you exactly what I changed but removing that line solved my issue.
Make a backup of the file before modifying anything.
