Qlikview tasks are not running

Hi,

On QMC tasks are not showing as running, if I will clik on run button its not processing further.

Please check and help me on this.

Hi

Were you able to resolve this issue? I am facing the similar problem - when clicked on the play button to run the tasks, it just gets back to waiting status instead of showing the green icon or red icon without taking time to process.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For the record: This one worked for me.

All I did was:

1. Stop all services

2. Rename folder "c:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionServices" to "c:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionServices.old"

3. Restart Services

Folder "c:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DistributionServices" gets recreated (so I'm assuming anything that was corrupted before is no longer there).

All history is cleaned out, so I don`t know when was it last run, or how long did the task take. Not a big deal in my case.

PS: I'm running QVS and Publisher on the same machine (by design, don't worry, I know what I'm doing ) , Qlikview 11.20 SR12. I have over 100 tasks, yes, but not all running at the same time (tops 12). 16 cores. Windows Registry is updated to support >10 parallel tasks. Only 15 simultaneous tasks allowed for Pub.

Solution for this issue:

Change the chunk size to "20". After changing it restart all the services.

ChunkSize can be found in the QV Management Service Config file:

C:\Program Files\QlikView\Management Service\QVManagementService.exe.config
