yes, we do have the encryption Technic in Qlikview but as per my knowledge we cannot able that on a whole set of data or QVD it will act on columns. The best way would be to secure the folder access where your storing the QVD's so that only the authorized user can access that folder.

As per my understanding, QVD doesn't hold any security concept. Since these are data files, you can protect inline data. But you could protect the complete file by using windows file permissions.

You can use some internal logic in script to encrypt it or even use some coding functions to achieve it.
