Qlik Sense Server App Location

Dear All,

Through Hub i have created a App and loaded data through inline but i want to know where the app Location is i am using windows 8

in desktop version i can able to identify the location but in server i cant  able to identify the location

when you create an app on the server it is saved in binary format in the server's repository, not in QVF format as it is if you create it on the desktop version.  You can export the app from the server if you need it in QVF format (assuming that you have permissions to do so).

I got want i want.further Clarification u told it will save in default binary format if its so mean there should be some Location ,i want the location where its sits

its for the fellow member if u dont know how to export then here it is 

go to server---->Apps---->select ur App-->at the bottom more action--->export--->it will sit in ur default download location

Apps in Qlik Sense Server live in a binary format in C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Apps. The name of the app may be confusing but in the QMC you can add in the binary ID by selecting ID in the Column Selector (see this help page for there this is located http://help.qlik.com/sense/2.0/en-US/online/#../Subsystems/ManagementConsole/Content/apps-overview.h...).

Hi Levi

I am using windows 8 so i dont have programdata i have only program files

C:\Programfiles\Qlik\Sense\ after that i dont see a apps folder

Just to confirm that program data folder  is hiden thats why i cant able to identify the location just want to confirm in windows 8 will the program data will be hidden default because i did int hide the folder just for clarification i am asking because i checked in another machine its to hidden  so y i am writing this mean it will be helpful to atleast one member

Yep. ProgramData is hidden on all operating systems as far as I've seen. When handling Qlik Sense (or QlikView Server), it's ideal to go ahead and show hidden files/folders.
