Command Line - Open without data , rename and save QV app

Hi all,

My goal is to open a Qlikview application without data and save it with another name and in another folder. I want to do this only in command line to create a batch file.

I know open a QV doc without data but after I don't know how to rename it and save it in another folder.

Anyone have an idea how to do this ?

Thank you very much for your help.

Best Regards,

Jeremy

Not sure what your end game is, but a guess could be backing your qvw's up without data to make them smaller.

Using prj folders could help, have a look at this video.  Then you would just need to make a copy of the prj folder.

You may also wish to look at QlikView Version Control.  It works with SubVersion which good and widely used open source software. The below gives you all the details on that.
