List Assigned Named CALs

Hello, it is possible to read the list of users that have licenses allocated in the QVS (Named CALs) and allocated in document (Document CALs).

I need de Name and Last Used in a table format to read in a App QV.

This is possible?

Hi, check the server API guide. I think you can do it through the API.

Hi Fernando,

Did you manage to find a solution for this?

I'm also trying to find a solution for this.

Thanks!

There is a utility called qv-user-manager in QlikView Power Tools.

I looked into the QV power tools, but it's only for version 10 and over.

We are unfortunately still using version 9.

If you are using version 9 then you are lucky. Please see this discussion.      http://community.qlik.com/message/197922   qv-user-manager only works for v9 and v10. It is one of the power tools.

Have a look at qv-user-manager in Power Tools 1.1, where it supports 11 as well. Find it here: http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-3059

Thank you Stefan. Can you please confirm what information I can have by using Qv-User-Manager 11 for CALs? I found I can only have User Name, Last Used, QuanrantinedUntil, Document and server. I can't know how many CALs in total, used and left.

Hi Stefan,

We are running version 9 SP6 and neither power tools v1.0 or v1.1 works.  I followed direction in changing the configuration file to point to my local server http://localhost:4799/QMS/Service but it returns an error every time I am trying to run the command.

Could not connect to http://localhost:4799/QMS/Service. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 167.177.95.16:4799.

Which is perfectly valid since after running a netstat -a there nothing listening on that port. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?  Should the config file be pointing to a different URL and if yes, what is that URL?
