variable selection export

Hi Guys,

I have a straight table and start date and end date calendar object in my dashboard. the measures in the straight table displays based on start date and end date selection.

This is done using variable. so in current selection start date and end date not getting selected.when user export the straight table using XL icon, he wants to know which date he has selected. I mean in excel he should have selection information,

Is it possible in any way without macro?

I dont think so it is possible without macro.

Either use Macro or look at NPrinting tool.

Check the Below option in User Preference ->Export Tab. Apply changes and now try to export

Export to Excel option won't export the variables info, instead display this Start date and End date in a column in the table.

Include Current Selections in Export by setting property SelectionStampInBIFFExport=1.

Go to Help, Right Click on Qlik Icon, Scroll down to find SelectionStampInBIFFExport

This option will export selection criteria in excel that exported. But will that export variable selection also?because it is not there in current selection.
