Unable to add user to Cals

Hi Experts,

We have purchased 5 named cal's. I have successfully configured  my active directory server and I can see the users in active directory.  After adding the user in System --> Licenses --> QlikView Server --> Assigned cals I can see the user and with out any start date time stamp (Refer the below image). Again I was trying to add the same user under users --> user Management --> Cal's I am able to add the user but after clicking the some other tabs and come back to  the path users --> user Management --> Cal's user is not appearing any more in Cal's. No luck when I try to access the access point. Please advice

Note: localadmin is the admin ID where I can use it successfully

When you add the user, make sure that you click the Apply button at the bottom right of the screen.

Hi Roger,

Thanks for reply. After clicking apply button I can see the see the use the Assigned Cal's. However I am unable to login to accesspoint.

In attached screen shot we can see there are 3 items in assigned user but in Name we can see only 2 user.

Is this your issue???

Hi,

Two users are System user one is Admin and One is normal. These Id's configured before AD users configuration. I am able to access the accesspoint for both the system users. But the users ashokfredrick (AD user) not able to login to accesspoint.

HI,

To start assigning a user CAL has nothing to do with you logging into the access point. If you are not able to login to the access point, that means there is something wrong with your authentication setup and that is put side of Qlik.

Thanks for reply. Found the issue. My POC server is not joined in my networking domain hence not able to connect.
