Qlikview authentication via a specific directory

Hi everyone,

I'm currently facing an issue with authentication I'd need some help,

I've joined a team as a Qlikview developer, and currently the legacy uses NT credentials for authentication,

I've been asked to change this authentication method, to use credentials stored in a another directory (using a webservice) but since I'm completely new to this kind of topics, I don't exactly know where to start,

Could anyone help please?

Kind regards,

Malek

Hi,

Authentication is not done by Qlik only authorization. So, if you are not doing Windows authentication you will need to do either Web ticketing or Header. See the below.
