Qlikview Dashboard vs Web Application

Hi Experts,

Actually I wan to embed the qlikview dashboard in to one web application, so that i have installed the "Qlikview Workbench" where we have the visual studio setup.

And I am not having the Qlikview full setup (Qlikview server and Accesspoint).

Access point docs only can embed with qlikview object in visual studio Asp. net.

Please tell me if there is any global access point document to show in my web application.

Hi Kabilan,

I don't really understand how do you want use QlikView Workbench without QlikView Server. Workbench only provides connection between existing QlikView objects/applications and your web-application.

First of all you have to install QlikView Server and publish your applications on server. Only server can manage your applications and provide objects and data through the Workbench to your web-app. It's pretty easy to work in VS using QV objects and ASP .NET. You can find a lot of materials on the Community.

BUT You can't embedd just qvw file created in Personal Edition to your web-app. Perhaps technically it's possible in any tricky way, but it is defenitely NOT the correct one.

as per my knowledge it's not possible to embed qv apps with out qlivkiew server on some other third part application like in ur case web app.

if u r trying to publish qv objects with share point web portal u can also think abt qlivkiew web parts.
