We are new to QlikView. Like to check with all the experts out there to see if anybody are using QlikView over Essbase Multidimensional Cube to produce dashboards? What are the best options to get data out from a Cube and be consumed in QV?
Also, does QV have feature to publish reports to mobile devices?
No idea about Essbase. As far as mobile devices, there is a client for the iPhone and iPad, and I know I've seen the Blackberry mentioned before. We've also done a little experimenting with just using Safari on the iPhone and iPad, with mixed results.
We have successfully connected to Hyperion Essbase data and created Expense, Headcount, P&L Qlikview Dashboards. We use Star Analytics SIS product and are able to securely extract Essbase Data and display it in QV10. Additionally, we are able to securely automate the extract process for audit purposes.
