Publish failed in QMC

Hi,

I am refreshing the dashboards without reload in QMC. I am getting error when running , the dashboard might requires username and password. If section access is set then it should through this error when reloading. But am not doing the reload , am just publishing the dashboard as is. What is actually blocking to publish the dashboard? please suggest.

Hi,

Does your service account have access to the the folder you are publishing to?

No, but some other dashboards in same folder are running fine.

Hi,

Not sure if there is a reason behind it or not, but I would always give access to the QlikView service account to the folders and I would also give the admin privilege in the sections access. Also if i was troubleshooting a problem like this it would be the first thing i would advise to do.
