I need to demo to a client how simple it is to take an SAP table and to make a QVD out of it. Do I need to install the connector on the SAP side, is there a SAP demo environment available to test the install? Is there a SAP demo environment where I can test the install out first?
You need to download the new SAP Connector from Qlik. It requires installing Transports on the SAP Basis system . Instructions are found below. This is for Qlik Sense which now has the 'Qlik SAP SQL Connector' available. QlikView has other types of SAP connectors available that are not yet ported to Qlik Sense.
