Welcome Message Overlay

Hi,

is it possible to show some sort of welcome message if a user opens a .qvw in access point?

Like a semi-transparent layer above the first tab which shows "Welcome OSuser()"...

Has anybody implemented something like that? Preferably without the use of a macro.

Put a text box with 'Welcome' and one text box with expression like =OSuser()

Sorry, my question was not specific enough. I want this to be shown across the whole screen, either:

1. for a number of seconds, or

2. to disappear if the User klicks on the screen.

simple example attached, displays welcome message when opening the QVW, button to clear the message, which then disappears again
