Apps will not start from iPad

I have set up a Sense Server. I can run the apps from a PC but when I log on from an Ipad I only see the apps in the hub, but nothing happens when I try to start them.

Hi Pär,

What browser are you using? There has been some issues opening application in the latest version of chrome. I would also make sure you are on latest iOS version (8.3).

Are you opening it on the same network? Or 3G/4G? Sense needs to establish a Websocket connection so if there is anything interrupting that (proxy for example) there could be issues.

Hi Per

I tried to open the app from Safari browser, OS is iOS 8.3. It works fine from an Android phone. I wil investigate if there is any difference between the local network and 4G.

Make sure to turn off 'Private' web viewing.

1. Launch Safari.

2. Click onto the tab for opening a new tab.

3. Turn off 'Private'.

Hi Par,

I faced the same issue as well. Its a simple fix.

In the management console, under the proxy settings , check the "enable http". Doing this you will be able to access Qliksense through http://xxx and doing which the http port will be open.

This will allow you to view the dashboards on ios devices as well

Hope this helps

- Sangram Reddy.

Sangram,

Is there any other way other than enabling HTTP. Isn't it unsafe?
