Changing the subject of error mail - Qlik Community

Hi All,

Has anybody tried changing the subject of the error mail that is received in case the QlikView load fails.

QlikView Publisher: The task "ABC.qvw" failed

I have checked in the SMTP section, but could not find anything useful to change the subject line of the error mail.

hi,

If you have patience, you could set up batch files that send personalized emails. These need to be triggered by event "on failed execution" of your tasks.

strange... i have checked QlikView Management Console & Qlikview Enterprise management console but could not find any such link like Tools --> Alerts etc.

I am using version - 9.0.75

Is it possible for you to attach a screenshot of the same ?

Check in your QVPR directory for MailTemplate.xml. They are at the bottom of the file.
