Hello,

I have a task which is scheduled several times a day and which works fine but sometimes an error occurs randomly.

Hello,

On the Server, there were two .NET Framework versions installed : 3.5 and 4.5.

As Qlikview uses .NET Framework 4.0 which is included in 4.5 version (See Qlikview Server > System > About), we uninstalled .NET Framework 3.5 and we no longer had the problem!!!!!!!

Problem solved!

Hi,

I have read this post and I have noted that:

"..this happen when a change is made directly or indirectly affecting the QV Service Account."

But what kind of change can cause this error?

Why my other documents are reloaded without error?

Thanks&Regards

How often you are getting the same error in a day?

It's random...

For certain applications never, for others : 0 à several times in a day.

Hi,

try to create a new user in your machine, insert it in Local Administrators and QlikView Administrators.

Then go to Services, find that beginning with "QlikView", and stop them. Then right click and Properties on all of them, then specify that account and password and restart, then retry.

Let us know.

Hello,

I checked the Windows Event logs and I get this error:

SE_LOG: User - GetStringS: Failed to LookupAccountName. Domain (\\LDAP Server), Name (QLIKVIEW user).

So the problem is due to a problem on the LDAP Server.

Problem solved.

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

I still have the problem.

I will try to create a new user in my machine as mentionned by Simone Spanio.

But I have one question : Why should the user be created in the machine? What if it is an LDAP user?

Thanks&Regards

Sara,

Local Administrators group grants its users with permissions to interact with administrative tasks in the operating system.

Take a look here:
