QlikSense from end user prospective

Hi,

We have created QlikSense application and published to different users.

User1 - Mumbai Vendor

User2 - Newyork Vendor

User3 - Japan Vendor

User4 - UK Vendor

We have Vendor field in our data, we need to restrict data for each respective vendor. I have an idea to create section access table, but no idea how we have to do it in Qliksense server.

USER     NTNAME    NTDOMAINSID VENDOR

USER1                                                  MUMBAI

USER2                                                  NEWYORK

USER3                                                  JAPAN

USER4                                                   UK

Question2:

We have provided link to access the application to USER1.

Now he open the app and did some modifications and saved the application. When he open next time, he want to open modified application. If required, he can share those modifications to others, or he can reflect those modification in applications which is available in server. Any chances to do this?

Can i get any video how to do this???

I have never seen QMC of Qliksense, can we get any video how it looks like?

Thanks.

Venkatesh

Hi Venkatesh,

1) The section access works the same in QlikSense server like in QlikView and has very minimal chances of locking your self out. So Check this out for section access.

2) There are a set of videos which take you through QMC and helps you understand it. Check out the videos in the link below.
