Hi all,

I have an Requirement on Section access

REQ:i have 5tabs like

Introduction  sales budjet  Quality  report

my req is...

when user open the QVW  the introduction page will open and on the top of that page need to ask user id and pass word?

is this posible in Qlikview?  Help me out on this/

Through section access you can have id/password set up before the introduction page..but not after loading the application.

as mentioned by Manish, section access id/password will prromt at the opening of the document itself.

you can try like bellow,

Step-1) create links to each sheet at introduction page

Step-2) Hide/Show the links based on the user access to the that particular sheet

Step-3) Hide/show the sheet based on the user access to the that particular sheet
