CAL usage: Document CAL session for user "*****\***" stopped

Client is attempting to copy a QVW from server1 to Extranet Server2 using a Windows Scheduled task, which runs daily @ 11.am,

We get below error message in Windows Event Log on Server1 and file doesn’t get transferred. As per error message, it seems like someone is using the dashboard on Server1 that’s why it’s stopping to transfer the file.

Do you reckon transferring the file when no one is using it would solve this issue?

ERROR:

The description for Event ID 100 from source QlikViewServer cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

CAL usage: Document CAL session for user "xxxxxx\xxxx" stopped

Or is this just a RED HERRING

Both issues are totally different. Copying file has nothing to do with DOC Cal assignment.

As Manoj said, the log message might not be related, as users accessing the document would not prevent it from being copied.

Is the task just copying the QVW across? If this is the case, the problem may be on server 2. Does the task has the permissions to write to the destination and overwrite the file there? Is the file on server 2 being accessed, as this would prevent it to be overwritten?

Does your scheduled task reload the file as well? Then the user on server 1 could have prevented the file from being saved.

better refresh the system and if possible restart the source server.
