Copy container included some objects to a new project

I am trying to copy some sheets to a new project. I have a container with some charts in there, when I do that it just copy container without charts and I know I can copy/paste charts one by one but I have more than 70 charts and it time consuming , I was wondering if you guys can help me to do it faster.

Do you have an older version of QV? That issue, including charts in a container copy, was fixed some time ago. What version and SR are you using?

Hi,

You can copy and paste the container with some object in the same document. But it is not possible in another document. Because container contains some linked objects not original objects. So, You have to copy or clone the original objects or charts and paste it into new document.

Have you tried to copy the container as an Object. i.e: right-click on the container, scroll down to Copy to clipboard and choose object.

As a side note, try not to have too many objects/charts in one container

Hello,

Running v11.20 SR13 it seems you can't copy the container object together with its included objects to a new qvw.

In the same qvw I am able to copy the container object with the included objects altogether.
