A couple of questions - do you get the error when you click New for tempalte?

also, in order to generate pdf files, you do not need to use pixel perfect unless there is a specific reason - you can use excel, word or powerpoint and in your task, specify the output to be pdf

pixel perfect is an excellent tempalte when precise location of data (out is on preprinted forms for example) or the qualigy of the output (when you incrase it 500 times) does not get distorted.  If neither of these are a requirement, I would recommend using another tempalte type.

If you get similar errors with those, I would uninstall nprinting designer and reinstall

Have you successfully used Nprinting before or is this your first effort to build a report?

Are you trying to access a document on a server or a local document?

Need a little more information to help you out.

Thanks Adam.

I have created lots of Nprint templates with Excel attachments, all of them are working well.

And my client says he wants the PDF version on attachment and I tried the way you said, here is the situation:

1. My Nprint designer is installed on one server and I installed Office 2010. And Nprint server is installed on another server without Office 2010.

2. When I use the Nprint designer to generate the excel template and add that Nprint file into server and schedule it, it works well.

3. But if I changed that excel template with PDF output, and try to use that scheduling to send the PDF output by email, it does not work.

After I checked log, I found the PDF file is generated and stored in the Nprint Server, but it can't be sent out.

As you can see the blow message, there is no log on message sent and it just end this task directly.

I use Excel all of the time to generate pdf files without issue.

are you changing the output type in the task for the report to pdf or are you tring to accomplish it in a differerent manner?

also make sure in your message portion of the task the pdf file is being attached - from your inforamtion, it sounds like the pdf is being created successfully but it is not included in your email

do you have filteres applied?
