Tokens Validation

Hi there, just want to ask if the tokens can be distributed to other locations. Or if allocation rules will allow flexibility in distributing “access passes”. For example: there are 6 sites, the 5 tokens will be allocated to sites A-E this month, but the 5 tokens will be distributed to other sites the following month. thank you.

By sites, do you mean nodes in the same cluster? Using login access passes?

If yes, in theory, I am pretty sure you can accomplish this. It'd need to involve, at minimum, the rule associated with the login access passes.

If using user access passes then there's the quarantine period to deal with: https://help.qlik.com/sense/2.0/en-US/online/#../Subsystems/PlanningQlikSenseDeployments/Content/Ser...

Hi Yhen,

If the Node belongs to the same cluster, Yes you can distribute the tokens. Are you referring a Node as a Site in your description? If the site which you are referring is a node then Yes.

Thanks and Regards,

Sangram Reddy.

Hi Yhen,

A Cluster is a collection of server. These servers are called node. So is your Qlik Sense deployed and managed using several servers/nodes/instances?

Thanks,

Sangram

Hi Sir Sangram,

Thanks for the information.

Is the qliksense enterprise edition can be installed in different server? My scenario would be the like this, the qliksense server was installed in the server of our main branch. Is it possible that our other branches can access the qliksense via web? Our other branches are located different places.

Thank you very much.

Yhen

Sangram.
