Web Server Not Restarting

Hi

A slightly strange question. We have a problem with the webserver not starting. I have found a corrupt XML file in the Distribution Service folder that I think it causing it. Do you know how I can fix it, will it be a case of re-installing QlikView?  The config.xml file in the c:\user\All Users\QlikTech\Webserver\Log, should this be an empty file? I have found that the log states the attachment

From memory this file is created on first run, so if it's been running and isn't now then the file shouldn't be empty.

EDIT: Actually are you talking about the config.xml in the user path or the config.xml in your error message under ProgramData - I'm talking about the latter and your screenshot suggests a bad file there.

A simple reboot of the server or a reinstallation?

Delete the existing config file & restart the service. This should work.

Reboot the system will solve the issue.
