thumbnails and images disappear when app is migrated

Hi all

we are finding that images embedded in apps including thumbnails are disappearing when an application is migrated from one node to another.  Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

Cheers

Bella

Hmm, strange, I've not seen the issue, after all when you want to deploy from say UAT to Prod you would'nt want to have to keep modifying prod to re-read the image files.

In the content library via the QMC , you can see the ownership of the images, can you check the owners are the same on both, long shot I know, but we try to sync owners on the nodes.

When you say one node to another , are you referring to Server nodes ? Basically your content libraries should be sync'd on the nodes in question.

Hi Bella,

The thumbnails and images which you have used in the app also needs to be migrated along with the app.

You will have to import the images into QMC through the content library tab and point to these files instead.

Thanks,

Sangram.

Thanks for the reply Paul.  The image libraries are the same on each server node but we still find we have to go in manually and read the image, I'm hoping to find a way to avoid that.
