Is it possibel to De-link visualizations from other charts in an App?

Hi,

I am curious to know if there is a way by which I can de-link one or multiple visualizations in an app in Qlik Sense from other charts?

Supposing I have 2 charts, one of which I want to keep at an overall level and the other can derive values based on a filter. Is it possible to do this in a Qlik Sense app?

You could do that with alternate state.

This functionality is not yet available in Qlik Sense, but you could try this extension:

Hi Malvika,

You will have to use extension objects for alternate states as Sebastien suggested.

However, if you want a overall level chart not changing to any selections (i.e. a static chart), you should write your expression as:

Sum({1}Sales).

This will show all the available values, regardless of the selections.

I am assuming that you are looking to change the visualization based on filters.

This can only be achieved using extensions as of now.
