Few Users able to connect access point but not able to see any document. They have Document cal license and security group is in place. Other users who are present on that group able to see the document.

You just add the user that could not access in the security group?

Because the security is not verify to each access, a cache is used and is it refreshed every 15 minutes

2. Two days back Security team added 10 users into the security group of the folder

3. 8 Users able to view document from the access point

4. two users not able to view it

5. We don't have any section access

I have checked this and all are ok

Can you temporarily enable automatic licence allocation and get one of the users to open the document, this will then populate the username correctly . You may need to add the domain to the username.

Without CAL, you could see the application in the Access Point, but you could'not open it.

The only reasons to don't see an application is :

  • Security Access Right
  • "Section Access"

Jonas ask you to valide the security right on the folder, but verify the security directly on the application file.

See the reply from Sebastian above, for the thumbnail not to appear it will be Section Access OR File / folder access, NOT cals.
