Few Users able to connect access point but not able to see any document. They have Document cal license and security group is in place. Other users who are present on that group able to see the document.
Any idea ?
Test one of the users in different browser preferably in the machine who can access.
If you use domain, verify that the user logged in the operating system with the AD user.
Should have asked this earlier, BUT are you using NT OR DMS security models?
Andy
NTFS mode
If you validate the security directly on the application file and that you see the login of both people that don't have access with correct security access, verify that the login that appears in the top of the Access Point correspond (just in case of these two people use one another login)
may be license is finished
Do you run a Publisher?
we have license but not using it currently.
I beleive it is a folder level security problem.
There is a golden trick to check effective permissions on files, including what propagates from group definitions and folder permissions. It goes like this:
In Windows Explorer, right-click a problematic document and select Properties->Security. Press the Advanced button and open tab "Effective Permissions". Click the Select button and select the user that has problems in viewing or opening the document in the AP. Then press OK and check the resulting permissions. Anything missing or just weird?
Best,
Peter
