I'm trying to make a chart of sales by product

What's would be the best approach for a chart to show sales by product by month against investment made by product?

any screenshots, models where I can take ideas?

Thanks!

HI,

Try Scatter chart like below

Dimensions: Month, Product

Expression:

1. Sum(Investment)   -- X Axis

2. Sum(Sales)   -- Y Axis

3. Sum(Sales)/Sum(Investment)  -- For bubble size, if bubble size is big then the return on investment is more

Hope this helps you.

For this scenario this is the best chart.  Or try using Straight table/Bar chart and sort it by descending order based on the Sum(Sales)/Sum(Investment) expression.

So that you can see best performing products on top and non performing products on bottom.

Hope this helps you.
