Moving QlikView Mounted Folder from Drive X to Drive Y

Dears,

Customer is asking to move the mounted folders from its current drive to a new drive (SAN Drive). i have 4 folders mounted in QlikView server. Publisher is not licensed.

There are couple of users already have Named and Document CLAs assigned on QVWs.

What exactly I can do in order to have a smooth process which changing the Mounted folders location.

Appreciate your help ASAP please.

Hi,

First you need to make sure that you take complete environment snapshot.

Unassigned document cals from current environment.

Go through the attached document as well. In case of any migration.

In case you need to recover a lost document cal refer to another attachment to this mail.

I would use the full unc path and not a mapped drive letter.

that is fine.

in the new paths i am going to use UNC.

my question is about:


What exactly I can do in order to have a smooth process with changing the Mounted folders location considering that the QVWs in this location has assigned document CALs.
