Cant find Variable interface on the new version of qlik sense server?

Hi ,

    I created some variables on qlik sense desktop in an application but when I imported the app onto the server all the front end variabes vanished and I cant find the variable interface in edit mode on the server. IS this functionality only available on the desktop version?

Hi Karthik,

I think this is a default behavior. But you should be able to use the variables in expressions and get the results.

‌No expression works which has variable in it. All these variables have been created in the variable interface on the sense desktop. Should I be writing all my 50 odd expressions in the script now?

I have the same problem, did you find a solution to it?

I re created all the variables again in script for the server version. That was so annoying and time consuming.
