Figures to be default previous month, then the ability to change with selection

My KPI Figures to be default previous month, then the ability to change with selection for example other months.

can u elaborate little bit more

I have a KPI with count of sales for previous month, when you enter the tab, or reset it I want the KPI figures to show previous month, until you select a different month.

on open that tab u have to select the max(month)-1 ?

am I right ?
