Qlik Sense Installation

When installing Qlik Sense it provides a list of host names, which you can select from or enter your own. My question is: How does this list get generated ?

You will get the list o hostnames based on the domain/network/workgroup your are in ... What I am thinking is as soon the app is launched it will scan the entire workgroup to list of hostnames

Thanks for this, for whatever reason it returned a PTR record (25.2.0.192.in-addr.arpa) which was kind of funky, but there was some strange DNS configuration on this system, Finally resolved this and the correct NetBIOS hostname is returned. I tried several things but concluded it will only ever return the NetBIOS hostname not the FQDN of the server from DNS and typing the FQDN into the box causes issues with CERTS etc. Not sure why there is even an input box.

Documentation seems a little light on this.
