Any possibility to implement "Forgot Password" on access point while login in ?

If yes, then positive comments appreciated.....

Hi,

There is no such feature available.

You have to reset his password from custom directory itself from your QlikView server.

If the login is based on NTName..then i think in teh windows active directory we can reset the password

As per my knowledge Qlikview doesn't provide any such option ...one way to achieve is to  build a custom page for the access point and then you can try to implement this requirement

No, you need to edit the Access point Index page and then add you required HTML code accordingly

OR

Just add a link (again you need to edit the index page )  and on click of this redirect it to the application or LDAP where the forgot password is already implemented

I think it could be possible to build a custom-page like above mentioned - but it won't be easy, especially if you want to automate that in a kind of a self-service-portal. It strikes me easier to include a small form within login-page which send a email to your qv admin-team which could then prompt react.
