We have upgraded Qlik Sense from Feb-2022 to Feb-2024 patch 2 and faced below issue while testing the new component NL insights .

1. checked the max connections in postgres-sql conf file which is fine 
2. checked web socket connection , working fine.

Can anyone please help on the issue.

Hi, I'm trying to connect SharePoint via Qlik Sense. Below steps i followed, 

1. Creating a new data connection. 

2. Choosing  the data source "Office 365 Sharepoint"

3. Then given the base URL of Office 365 Sharepoint in the baseURL.

4. Then choose the "None" from Prompt/Consent level. 

5. Click on Authenticate button. Then it will take to next tab and code generated. Then copied code and paste in the respective tab. Then clicked on the Authenticate tab. 

6. After that taking some time and faced the error. Below is the error message,

"error verifying: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond "Some IP (1.1.1.1:443)"

I should select the option "Personal information exchange"  but I can't select it.

Is it necessary to use this option if I want use Qlik sense to be activated on another server (same version) ?
If I choose first option for example (.CER), will it change anything?

I have not found specific information about this elsewhere

We have changed  a  column name  in  the existing data source table and data load also completed,

after that chart fields  populated as blank(-) instead of populating respective column name  errors or change log details.

Example

Before change:   Table Name: Employee 

                             Column  Name - Employee _ID , Employee_Name

After change : Table Name: Employee  

                         Column  Name - E _ID , E_Name

We have a Qlik CDC only task and we performed a modification on a filer transformation on a table.

We stopped that task , perform Import task with the desired modifications and perform (for mistake) resume processing of the same task.

The filer was loaded correctly (and unexpectedly !)

We remember in the past documentation that , if we have to perform a filter modification, we are aware that we will perform stop+import of the task (or perform modification by Qlik Enterprise Manager GUI and save the currently running task) and perform reload target

Can you explain us what happened ? in what case resume processing is acceptable for filter modifications scanarios ?

I fixed it myself.

In the C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense folder, there was no host.cfg file. No idea why this wasn't created by the installation of Qlik Sense itself.

1. write down the full FQDN name of the server

2. Go to Base64 Encode and Decode - Online, and paste this FQDN name and press the Encode button

3. Copy the encoded result to a new file named host.cfg and save this in the C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense folder

4. Open a command prompt

5. Stop all Qlik services

6. go to folder "C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\Repository"

7. Type "Repository.exe -bootstrap -standalone -restorehostname". See also 'restore a qlik website'. Start the Qlik Sense service dispatched service. If all OK, the system should end with 'Bootstrap mode has terminated. Press ENTER to exit..'. 

8. Start all other Qlik services

This should fix it. If not, probably you first have to delete the certificates and go back to step 7 to recreate them.

Thought about asking if anyone can think of a solution for my problem here, since I'm new to Qlik I'm not sure if there is a function that can do that job.

I have a dataset with many duplicated records, but every record has a different Id. I'd like to delete the duplicates and maintain just the first of the duplicated records. 

In this example, rows 2-6 are duplicated.

 What I'd like to see instead is:

Is there a way to achieve this? I'm attaching a small sample of data as well if there is someone who woul'd like to try a solution here.

I tried Load Distinct, but it doesn't work as I have distinct ID for every row.
