Hi all Qlik Sense users,

We are now in week #8 of 2016 and it is a bumper in terms of releases.   This week we release Qlik Sense 2.2 on the Sense Feature Track, the QlikView Mobile App 2.4 and last but not least, Qlik Sense 2.0.7 which is the latest version on the Sense Service Release track.

Highlights of Qlik Sense 2.2 Feature Track:

  • Advanced data preparation with automatic date handling, calculated fields, and a newly redesigned data manager.
  • Alternate dimensions and measures, allowing users to change views and analytics in charts and graphs without having to directly edit governed objects.
  • Powerful new developer APIs and capabilities including a new app integration API, a visualization API for programmatic creation of analytics, and a new IDE plugin for Visual Studio.
  • Expanded printing and exporting capabilities for stories and charts to PowerPoint, .PDF, and Excel.
  • Numerous user experience and enterprise management improvements

We have also added New features for developers:

  • New visualization API
  • New App Integration API
  • Qlik Analytics plugin for Visual Studio
  • Creating visualizations on the fly

Qlik Sense 2.2 also contains several bug fixes, please see attached release notes for details.   The full build number for this release is 2.2.3.

QlikView Mobile 2.4

QlikView Mobile 2.4 is now available in the Apple App store.   Mobile 2.4 includes:

  • Support for ACE (appconfigforenterprise.org)
  • Support for Airwatch EMM platform
  • Kerberos authentication

Qlik Sense Service Release 2.0.7

The latest Qlik Sense Service Release on the Service Release track is now available.   The Service Release track contains only bug fixes and no new features.    Please see the attached release notes for Sense 2.0.7 for details of the bug fixes included in this Service Release.
