Hello Qlik users,
Today is a big day for releases, with a new Feature Release for Qlik Sense and a new version of NPrinting. In addition, Qlik is adding new features to Qlik DataMarket, launching Qlik Accelerate and Qlik Playground.
Qlik Sense 3.1
Qlik Sense 3.1 introduces
- User experience improvements – Drag-and-drop to color by dimension, a new user interface theme with object borders, and performance improvements to search.
- Enhanced data profiling – Improved profiling and auto-creation of geographic data for easy mapping, and smarter algorithms for identifying associations.
- More powerful data prep – A new graphical capability for loading pivot tables, pre-filtering of data before preparation stage, and a refined and more powerful scripting environment.

- Please note, due to a technical issue, we have released a new version of 3.1.0 on our download site, which addresses the unexpected display of our internal version number instead of the expected 3.1 information during install. Users already running the earlier build which displays 10.3.4.0 can continue to do so, it is fully supported. The new installation file no longer displays the commercial build number in the installer splash screens. You can upgrade to the new version without any issues. For the detailed amongst you, and if you look, you will see the internal build number for this new version is 10.3.5.0.
NPrinting 17.2
Qlik NPrinting 17.2 includes on-demand reporting for QlikView and several bug fixes. Please see attached release notes for details.

- Qlik DataMarket – Additional European socio-economic data in the Essentials package.

All new software is available on our download site and we do strongly recommend following best practices when installing or upgrading any software. Be sure to backup all your relevant data, apps and information before upgrading and of course, read the release notes and upgrade guides.
