Our next milestone is simple- making data as easy to use as Google.

In logistics we already have the data. We already have the dashboards. The challenge now is helping every employee, regardless of technical skills, get answers from data without needing to know where it lives or how it was modeled.

If AI can help warehouse managers, planners, and business users get trusted answers in seconds instead of searching through reports, that's where the real value starts.

Success for us won't be when AI generates more insights. It will be when more people are able to act on them.

AI greatest potential comes when combined with human expertise and judgment, so I think a huge milestone would be helping people work more effectively with AI.

Our next approach around AI is to bring our employees from people that USE AI to people that WORK with AI. And we are currently working on training them, sharing good practice to have a solid base.

Next milestone is the first big one - get the organization AI ready without being tied to a specific vendor for LLM, MCP, and source, all without interrupting ongoing business processes.

Our next objective is to leverage every available resource to boost performance, enhance data security, and increase process agility.

This involves using automation to send detailed emails to customers and salespeople; employing data products to generate governed, reliable data; using alerts to take a more proactive approach to the business; and utilizing easy-to-visualize reports.

Above all, it entails using Artificial Intelligence to assist in creating dashboards and generating insights and presentations—or even answering questions that were previously beyond our reach.

And finally, securely democratizing data for everyone.

Our next milestone is to move from “AI can answer our data” to “AI can act on our data”—with trusted, governed Qlik data as the foundation.

We’re focusing on turning insights into measurable actions and business outcomes, not just adding another AI feature to the dashboard.

Current milestone we are working on is Governance.

How to create enough guardrails and documentation to feed the AI agents to act fast, within the industry boundaries. How to teach our AI tools to respect sensitive information and our best-practices.

Happy days for people who like to document! Now, at least the AI Agents will READ what we document! LOL

Moving from idea testing to large-scale AI implementation is our next major objective. Our goal is to apply AI throughout the entire company in a way that truly makes a difference. The primary topics we will concentrate on are as follows:

By enhancing the quality of our data, ensuring that it is safe and secure, and developing platforms that are prepared for AI, we will ensure that our AI is based on a solid basis.

AI will be used in more contexts, such as intelligent automation, digital assistants, and systems that can forecast future events.
These will be a part of how we manage daily chores and operate our firm.

By progressing from tiny experiments to comprehensive solutions that benefit the entire organization, we will demonstrate the true worth of AI.
This will facilitate improved decision-making, streamline operations, and enhance customer service.

We will develop our approach to dealing with AI such that it is consistent, safe, and effective.
This will enable us to employ AI in a sustainable and responsible manner.

Additionally, we will begin and expand new applications of AI, such as building online communities of assistants and utilizing AI to manage certain aspects of our company.
These initiatives will have a significant positive impact on the company's many divisions and businesses.

Our next milestone is straightforward: make data as easy to use as a Google search.

We're not short on data or dashboards — in our OEM systems, both already exist. The real challenge is enabling every employee, regardless of technical background, to get answers from that data without needing to know where it sits or how it's modeled underneath.

The moment AI can help warehouse managers, planners, and business users get trusted answers in seconds — instead of digging through reports — that's where the actual value begins.

For us, success won't be measured by how many insights AI generates. It'll be measured by how many more people are empowered to act on them.

Improve data cleanliness and clarity and expand the use of agents, integrating them into our processes.
It also involves maturing the use of AI in areas of the organization that could be said to be stuck in a state of complacency, or clinging to established mindsets and patterns.

Ah where to start? There's mini projects looking at different use cases and then there's a bigger plan that centres on getting our data quality and governance right first.

In terms of mini projects it's using AI to do those repetitive manual tasks that drain people's time. E.g. scouting through free text fields in surveys and notes for information that is actually useful or represents a call to action that can be turned into an email and sent to the right part of the business.

Larger scale, we're migrating the data warehouse and employing governance staff. We're launching a data quality dashboard and exploring the data quality features that come with Qlik Talend. We're preparing for a master data management project to align our customer data. All of that should put us on a platform where AI can use reliable data. The dream is for a data chat bot that can answer day to day questions and free up my team to solve bigger problems.

We help our existing customers getting their existing dataplatform AI ready or helping new customers setup a new AI ready dataplatform in Qlik. Through strategic sessions with business users and key-users we aim to gather specific AI use-cases to start with AI (agent) solutions that will benefit the business.
