This release of the standalone Qlik REST Connector for QlikView is a general update making the connectivity to sources via REST APIs from QlikView in par with the current capabilities in Qlik Sense (client-managed and SaaS).

What's new in Qlik REST Connector - September 2021

The REST Connector update includes bug fixes and generally improved stability.

The most significant update is support for proxy configuration in the connector configuration dialog, including:

Proxy address
Proxy port
Username and password for proxy authentication

This is similar as already available in Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows

Known issues and limitations

There are no issues and limitations identified at the time of release.

Upgrade notes

It is important that you make a backup of the site before upgrading, to be able to recover the site if the upgrade fails.

The Qlik REST Connector for QlikView installs from the file QlikRestConnector_setup.exe. See the Qlik Connectors section of the online help for detailed installation instructions.

Note that if any previous version of the Qlik REST Connector is installed on the system, it must be uninstalled before the new version can be installed.

If you intend to use the Qlik REST Connector on a system with Qlik Sense Desktop, it must be installed after you installed Qlik Sense Desktop.

This REST Connector (2.103) is compatible with QlikView 12.20 and later.
