What's new in GeoAnalytics Server May 2025

Java 21

GeoAnalytics Server now requires Java 21 or newer.

Blocked GeoAnalytics file loads are now logged

If a file loaded via GeoAnalytics is blocked, the reason is now logged in the main logfile.

Admin UI Updates

The migration of the admin UI to React has been completed. There has been some cleanup but most of the functionality should be the same.

Noticeable changes:

The previous term Multialias has been replaced with Group to better reflect the usage.
Diagnostic pages for webmap maps now only contain a single page.

Resolved Defects

Key	Title	Description
QB-24637	Fixed dissolve operation failing for identical datasets	The operation would fail with a cryptic message.
QB-25310	Fixed not being able to load files over local network	Fixes bug which caused GeoAnalytics to not be able to load files over the local network. The load would then fail with the error message "URI has an authority component".
QB-30580	Geometries in EPSG:5514 CRS not projected correctly	Fixed a bug in the handling of the EPSG:5514 CRS which caused geometries to not end up where they should.
	Not being able to enable reading from databases in settings	Fixed an issue where it was not possible to enable the setting "Allow reading from database".
	Enabling disableRemoteAdmin causes server to crash	Fixed an issue where setting disableRemoteAdmin to true would cause the server to crash on startup.

Known issues and limitations

None at the time of release.
