What's new in Qlik Gold Client May 2026

Gold Client Export Engine will remove duplicate data records found during data collection process. Can be activated using MCONFIG setting X_REDUCE_REDUNDANCY. Global Parameter REDUNDANCY_HASH_KEY can be used for further Data redundancy improvements. REDUNDANCY_HASH_KEY set to 3 removes duplicate data using HASH key logic. REDUNDANCY_HASH_KEY set to 4 (only S/4HANA systems) also removes duplicate data using HASH key logic but uses shared memory monitored with transaction SHMM (QGC-1234)

Compatibility with S/4HANA 2025 (QGC-1361)

New User Exit /HTG/GLC_UTL_C_40 to scramble PCL4 cluster data (QGC-1303)

Resolved Defects

Import errors are now summarized in Job WORKER_*_999 (QGC-1270)

File query performance improved in Import Control (QGC-1386, QGC-1296 )

Updated banner on Gold Client main screen to reflect updated Qlik branding (QGC-1372)

Clear Print Immediately user setting with Gold Client Background Jobs (QGC-1373)

Gold Client Parallel Processing can be used without ADVUTL authorization (QGC-1360)

Gold Client Cross client table [/HTG/GLC_CFG_PPU] can now be deleted with Delete Table Data Before Import active during Gold Client configuration import (QGC-1340)

Sort/Filter toolbar added to Gold Client Import screen when executed in foreground.(QGC-1297)

Linkages in Data Framework sorted by Data Type Name.(QGC-1297)

Client Importer - Sizing Report button text appears when logged on in non-EN language (QGC-1289)

Gold Client Clean Core Compatibility Updates for/HTG/ZTABLEINFO language support and /HTG/SUBST_GET_FILE_LIST parameters. (QGC-1397, QGC-1401)

Resolved ABAP Dump in /HTG/GLC_UTL_C_37 user-exit (QGC-1396)

Transformation Rules with Qualifiers now sorted correctly (QGC-1398)

Gold Client Activity Log report now showing results (QGC-1342)

FM /HTG/SUBST_GET_FILE_LIST updated to use CALL method (QGC-1395)

Export Description in Import Control is not based on Export Job Name (QGC-1407)

Upgrade notes

SAP Authorization S_TABU_NAM for Activities 02 (Change) and 03 (Display) for Tables /HTG/* are needed to use the following Gold Client Utilities:
- Config Download/Upload (JSON)
- Number Range Utility
- HR User Exit /HTG/GLC_UTL_C_15
- Reconcile FI Secondary Indexes
- Update Change Document Client
- Client Text Object Update
- Update Person Where-Used Address

System requirements notes

Only SAP systems on SAP_BASIS 740 component or higher can run Gold Client 8.7.2026.05
