How to do quarter analysis?

Hi,

I got sect of quarters and year, I want to analysis 1Qtr of 2013 VS 1st Qtr 2014 as well as 2nd Qtr of 2013 VS 2nd Qtr 2014

please go through the attachment and help me out. Thanks!

Hi Mafaz,

You can use alternate state for this ctreate the state in document properties general tabl and apply same state in chart properties for comparison.

Take 2 dimensions and one expression like bellow..

Primary : Quarter

Secondary : Year

Expression: Sum(Sales)

For Qtr wise analysis you create

Dimension: Quater&' '&Year

Expression: Sum(Sales)

but still I get the out put as below not how I wanted. I want to show Plan and Actual for same Quarter but deterrent two years
