topic Last document state for published Qlik Sense Server apps? in Visualization and Usability

Hi,

I have an app running on a Qlik Sense 2.0 server, with 5 years of data. When I open the app, I'd like to show only the data for the current year, which is straightforward to do by selecting Year=2015.

I can't seem to find a way to get my app to remember this selection for my next session. Qlikview did this automatically, and I could reset the document state in the accesspoint with the "Remove last document state" button. Is there something similiar for published apps in Sense Server?

In the meantime I've defined a bookmark, but that still means I need to open the app and select the bookmark before I get the starting view I'm after. Have I overlooked something obvious somewhere?

Cheers,

Per Christian

Hi,

for this you must use the 'set analysis' in your expressions like:

Sum({$<Year={$(=Max(Year))}>} Sales )

regards

Thanks for the suggestion, though it is a bit of a brute force method and doesn't really address my concern. It also far less flexible than the document state in Qlikview.

Cheers,

Per Christian
