topic setting up trigger-based scheduling linking the external occurrence, such as a database refresh in Qlik Automate

Hi,

We would like to setting up trigger-based scheduling in QlikSense, linking the external occurrence, such as a database refresh using OPCON. So that, these automation jobs fire the triggers and qlikSense should catch them and load the qvd files or refresh apps etc.

I failed to find a proper documentation or use cases. I would appreciate any insight into this.

Thanks in advance!

Hello @Siqk ,
Welcome to this forum for questions related to the product "Qlik Application Automation". The are several ways these automations can be started, including having them triggered or using a webhook (not available for all connectors):
https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_QlikAutomation/working-with-automations/working-with-runmodes.htm

When the automation runs it can perform an app reload. You might find this article on "How to use task chaining with Qlik Application Automation" useful when setting up reloads:
https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/How-to-use-task-chaining-with-Qlik-Application-Automation/ta-p/1834006
