Reporting Blocks and Filters with Section Access enabled

I built a straight forward reporting automation, but am now realizing that because I have Section Access on the app it won't pass the users filter selections to the automation...it just defaults to the creator (Me, an Admin).

Two questions:

1. Anybody have a work around?

2. If no to above, anybody try passing variable values over to the automation to apply to selections? I can set the action on the button to assign variable value (in my case Location). But cannot figure our how to get the value out of the Get Variable block....I just get Metadata?

Hello @mck-mthomas ,

Regarding 2, try using the 'Get Expression Value' instead and set the expression to =variablename. For example: =test_variable

Hi Team,

Any update on this post, working on Automation report. Need to implement Section Access, the Section Access is working in the application, but when sending the data in Automation report, the filters are not getting applied. Can anyone help which block needs to be applied for implementing the appropriate User, Group and Filters in Automation, does the Reporting Users and Group be fetched in Automation.
